Platform Where Do I Get Vaccinated? locates more than 21 thousand sites for measles immunization

The Health Secretariat launched a digital platform that helps people find vaccination sites for measles.

The Mexican Health Secretariat has introduced a new digital platform called '¿Dónde me vacuno?' aimed at simplifying the vaccination process against measles. This platform allows users to quickly ascertain whether they belong to a priority vaccination group and identifies the nearest vaccination site among over 21,000 locations established across the country. It is accessible via computers, smartphones, and tablets, making it convenient for a wide audience.

Eduardo Clark, the Undersecretary for Sectoral Integration and Coordination of Medical Care Services, highlighted that the tool is primarily designed for parents, caregivers, and the general population. Users can search for vaccination centers by state and municipality, and the platform provides information on the operational hours and days of these sites. The extensive network is supported by various health institutions including IMSS, ISSSTE, IMSS Bienestar, and state health services.

The priority vaccination campaign specifically targets children between six months and twelve years old who have not previously been vaccinated. This initiative aims not only to combat the resurgence of measles but also to ensure that children are adequately protected against the disease, thereby enhancing public health outcomes in Mexico.
