On Friday evening, a fire broke out in a trolleybus on route 4 on Brīvības Street in Riga, affecting the city's public transportation system. According to Baiba Bartaševiča-Feldmane, a representative from Rīgas Satiksme, the bus driver noticed smoke and flames in the engine compartment and managed to extinguish the fire promptly. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in this incident.
