The Carnapauxis 2026 festival kicked off with great excitement, especially during its second day, which was characterized by a lively celebration led by the Bloco Mirim Unidos Umarizal. The streets of Óbidos, located in western Pará, were filled with children excitedly partaking in the festivities. This year's theme for the Bloco was "As Folias Culturais no Bloco Mirim," focusing on the homage to the traditional cultural manifestations of Óbidos that originated in the 1970s.
