A man in his 30s is facing serious charges after attending a teenage girl's funeral with a hammer, having been implicated in her death due to drug overdose.
In December, a teenage girl was found lifeless in the man's apartment, and a preliminary report from the National Board of Forensic Medicine indicated that she died from an overdose. The man, in his 30s, is suspected of gross negligence causing another's death, drug distribution, and drug offenses, as authorities believe he supplied the girl with drugs, contributing indirectly to her demise. The girl's family requested that the man not attend her funeral, but he refused to accept this instruction.
On the day of the funeral, the man expressed threats to a relative, stating he would break in with a crowbar and was ready to fight if necessary. This led to police being present outside the church in Gammelstad when he arrived armed with a sledgehammer. During his arrest, he initially claimed he carried the hammer due to personal threats but later changed his story to say he was moving and needed it for that purpose.
