In Agra, Uttar Pradesh, Ravi Kushwaha has been apprehended by police for the murder of his sister, Anita Kushwaha, driven by greed for their mother's jewelry. Following the heinous act, on February 4, Ravi concealed himself as a disguised 'Baba' outside a temple in Chitrakoot, attempting to elude law enforcement. His actions were reportedly supported by a contact in Rajasthan, described as his 'guru'.
The police investigation revealed that Ravi had previously faced legal trouble in 2022, when he was involved in a bombing incident at his in-laws' home in Doki. Anita had facilitated his bail during that time, and it is alleged that upon his release, Ravi exerted continuous pressure on her regarding their mother’s assets, ultimately leading to the tragic murder of Anita. Ravi conspired with his accomplice Abhay alias Kake, and they executed the act of shooting her within the premises of their home.
In the aftermath of the murder, the police formed multiple teams to capture Ravi, facing challenges in tracing his location due to the absence of a mobile phone. However, successful leveraging of technical resources and local intelligence enabled the police to eventually locate and arrest him, underscoring the complexities often involved in criminal investigations where the suspect actively tries to avoid detection.
