Greek Railways (OSE) has announced the creation of 33 managerial positions, including 6 for general directors and 27 for directors, as part of its restructuring efforts under the new legal framework established by law 5220/2025. This initiative is a key reform aimed at transitioning OSE towards a modern governance model that emphasizes transparency, meritocracy, and accountability.

The announced positions are critical as they focus on essential areas of responsibility within OSE, including safety and interoperability, network operations, studies and projects, financial services, strategy and development, technology and digital strategy, rolling stock, human resources, and specialized operational and regulatory divisions. The structure indicates a comprehensive approach to improving operational efficiency and managerial oversight.

The recruitment process will involve a public invitation, allowing for an open evaluation process that includes checks on formal qualifications and substantive competencies.
