In a tragic escalation of violence, regional authorities reported that at least nine people were killed and 28 others injured due to a series of Russian assaults across Ukraine on February 13. The attacks included the use of an Iskander-M ballistic missile along with 154 attack drones, of which Ukrainian air defenses managed to intercept 111. Nevertheless, at least 22 drones and the missile penetrated the defenses, culminating in strikes on 18 distinct locations throughout the country, with debris reported at two of those sites.

In Donetsk Oblast, one of the most grievous attacks occurred in Kramatorsk, where four individuals, including an 8-year-old boy, lost their lives. Additional strikes targeted the village of Cherkaske, resulting in one death and further injuries. The impact of these assaults was widespread; other areas such as Malotaranivka and Druzhkivka also experienced injuries due to separate attacks, highlighting the indiscriminate nature of the violence and the ongoing suffering inflicted upon civilians.

The ongoing conflict continues to take a toll on everyday life in Ukraine, as exemplified by the situation in Odesa Oblast, where Governor Oleh Kiper reported that one person was killed and multiple others were left critically injured in yet another assault.
