China: The Dynamics of the Exhibition Industry is Expanding
The exhibition industry in China is experiencing significant growth, with a report indicating a record number of trade shows planned for 2025.
According to a recent report titled 'Development of Exhibition Economy in China 2025' presented by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, there will be a total of 4,095 trade exhibitions occurring in the country by 2025, featuring an exhibition area of 159 million square meters. This indicates a 6.53% and 2.5% increase in the number of exhibitions and area covered, respectively, compared to the previous year, breaking historical records and confirming a steady and sustainable upward trend in the exhibition economy.
Li Qingxiang, the vice president of the Council, emphasized that exhibitions serve as pivotal platforms for promoting industrial development and international economic cooperation. Leveraging the most comprehensive industrial and innovation ecosystem globally, Chinese enterprises are enhancing their international presence, thus expanding opportunities for cross-border collaboration. The report highlights a fruitful environment where businesses can engage more effectively on a global scale.
