Junya Ogawa, a 54-year-old member from Kagawa's 1st district and formerly part of the Constitutional Democratic Party, has been elected as the new leader of the Nakano Reform Coalition following a pivotal vote in Tokyo's Nagatacho. The election results revealed Ogawa secured 27 votes, while his opponent, Takashi Kage from Iwate's 1st district, garnered 22 votes.
