143 state proximity police graduate in Edomex, trained by Sedena and National Guard

A total of 143 police officers in the State of Mexico have graduated after training alongside personnel from the National Defense Secretariat and the National Guard.

A graduation ceremony was held for 143 police officers of the State of Mexico, who completed their training with support from the National Defense Secretariat (Sedena) and the National Guard. This event took place at the Military Police Specialized Training Center located in Huehuetoca, where these new officers will now strengthen local security efforts. This initiative reflects the continuous effort to enhance public safety within the region.

As of this graduation, a total of 655 police officers have received specialized proximity training in the State of Mexico. The recent graduates join the ranks of 501 officers who previously completed their specialized training. Such training is seen as a pivotal component in reinforcing the security framework of the state and addressing the challenges of crime.

State Security Secretary Cristóbal Castañeda Camarillo emphasized the importance of ongoing training in solidifying public security pillars, which has been associated with a noticeable decline in serious crimes in the State of Mexico. The graduation not only symbolizes personal achievement for the officers but also reflects a broader commitment to improving safety and security in the region.
