In the latest party ratings, some rose and others fell: at the top are the conservatives

Recent party ratings in Lithuania show the conservatives leading, followed by the Greens and Farmers Union, and a notable rise for 'Nemuno aušra'.

A recent survey conducted from January 19 to 29 indicates a shift in political party ratings in Lithuania. The conservative party has secured the top spot, with support from 13.3% of respondents in January, down from 15.3% in December. This slight decline reflects the dynamic nature of Lithuanian politics, where voter sentiments can fluctuate based on various factors including party performance and public engagement.

Following the conservatives, the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union (LVŽS), led by MEP Aurelijaus Veryga, has shown improvement with 7.6% support, up from 5.7% in the previous month. Meanwhile, 'Nemuno aušra', headed by Remigijus Žemaitaitis, has also gained traction, with 7.5% of respondents planning to vote for them compared to 5.7% in December. This increase signifies a growing recognition of the party and perhaps an aligning of its policies with voter priorities.

The Social Democratic Party (LSDP), led by Mindaugas Sinkevičius, remains in fourth place, experiencing a slight decline in support to 7.3% from December's 8.6%. Lastly, the Liberal Movement also features in the top five, receiving support from 7.3% of the surveyed population. These fluctuations in party ratings highlight the competitive political landscape in Lithuania as parties strive to connect with voters amidst ongoing socio-economic challenges.
