The Bolsa Família program in Rondônia is set to roll out payments starting this Thursday, February 12, which will continue until February 27. The payment dates depend on the last digit of each beneficiary's Social Identification Number (NIS), impacting the over 125,077 families across the 52 municipalities in the state. The total funds allocated to Rondônia exceed R$ 84.5 million, with an average payment of approximately R$ 675.64 per family.
Porto Velho is the city with the highest number of beneficiaries, totaling around 48,500 families, followed by Ji-Paraná, Ariquemes, Cacoal, and Guajará-Mirim. The program also includes additional support, such as the Benefício Primeira Infância, which benefits 69,400 children aged zero to six years, providing an extra amount of R$ 150 per child. Moreover, there are further complementary payments of R$ 50 for pregnant women, 2,800 nursing mothers, and 103,000 children and adolescents aged 7 to 18 in the state.
Additionally, the program addresses specific groups in Rondônia this month, including a thousand families with individuals in homelessness and 2,500 families with individuals with disabilities. These targeted initiatives reflect the government’s efforts to provide comprehensive support to vulnerable populations, particularly in challenging economic circumstances.
