Edson Fachin, the President of Brazil's Supreme Federal Court (STF), has organized a meeting with fellow ministers to deliver a report from the Federal Police (PF) that mentions Minister Dias Toffoli. This report centers around information obtained from the mobile phone of Daniel Vorcaro, the owner of Banco Master, where Toffoli's name has surfaced. During the meeting, Fachin is also expected to share Toffoli's response regarding the report, given that Toffoli serves as the rapporteur for the ongoing case against Banco Master.

In a public notice issued on the same day, Toffoli acknowledged his association with Maridt, a company involved in the sale of the Tayayá resort in Paraná to funds related to Banco Master. However, he strongly denied any personal friendship with Vorcaro or any financial transactions occurring between them. This revelation has raised questions regarding potential conflicts of interest, to which Toffoli has responded by asserting that he perceives no such conflicts in his dealings concerning the case.

The situation escalates as the Supreme Court has already forwarded the PF report to the Office of the Attorney General of Brazil (PGR) for review.
