BYD Atto 3 Evo: concrete evolution in autonomy, power, and technology
The new BYD Atto 3 Evo aims to offer a more complete electric SUV with significant improvements in powertrain and functionality.
The BYD Atto 3 Evo is designed with a clear objective: to provide a more comprehensive electric SUV by enhancing every aspect of the vehicle, including powertrain, architecture, efficiency, and onboard functionality. This is not merely an update; it is a significant advancement across all areas of the project. The technical heart of the vehicle lies in the 74.8 kWh battery, enabling a range of up to 510 km according to WLTP standards for the rear-wheel-drive version. With rapid DC charging capabilities reaching 220 kW thanks to a 500V electrical architecture, it allows for a charge from 10% to 80% in just 25 minutes, facilitating daily use with greater ease and flexibility.
The Atto 3 Evo comes in two configurations. The Design version, which is rear-wheel drive, delivers 313 horsepower (230 kW) and 380 Nm of torque, achieving a 0-100 km/h time of 5.5 seconds. Meanwhile, the Excellence AWD variant adds a front motor, increasing total power to 449 horsepower (330 kW) and 560 Nm, providing a quicker acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, alongside a WLTP range of 470 km. Both versions are designed to offer towing capabilities, further enhancing their practicality and versatility in a range of driving scenarios.
