The finalists of the 'Half Past Seven' program's mitten competition are here – vote for your favorite

The Puoli seitsemän program has selected finalists for their mitten competition, inviting viewers to vote on their favorite pair.

The 'Puoli seitsemän' program, a Finnish television show, initiated a mitten-making competition called Tumpputalkoot in mid-January, encouraging viewers to knit mittens. As of now, the finalists have been chosen, and the audience is invited to vote for the most impressive pair of mittens. The winner will be announced live on February 19. All mittens collected will be donated to those in need across Finland through the A-Klinikkasäätiö foundation and the Preventive Substance Abuse Work organization EHYT Ry.

The selection of finalists was made by a jury that included actress and comedian Krisse Salminen, Tanja Rantanen, the chairperson of the Craftsmen's Association, and Mikko Pienipaavola, a host of the show. Viewers can view the finalists in a gallery and vote for their favorites until 10 PM on February 18. This initiative not only promotes community involvement in creative crafts but also aims to support vulnerable groups in society by donating finished mittens to those who require them.

This unique combination of entertainment and charity highlights the program's commitment to social welfare and showcases Finland's tradition of warmth and craftsmanship in support of those in need. Through such initiatives, the Puoli seitsemän team continues to engage its audience while contributing positively to the community.
