Announced by Stanley Nkwocha, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Communications, the trip highlights Nigeria's active participation in continental governance and leadership.

The AU Summit will center on the theme "Assuring Sustainable Water Availability and Safe Sanitation Systems to Achieve the Goals of Agenda 2063," a vital framework aimed at promoting sustainable development across Africa.
