The Civil Defense of Miracema continues to monitor the water level of the Ribeirão Santo Antônio, which flows through the urban area of the municipality, after days of intense rainfall. Recently, the watercourse reached levels that caused partial flooding in multiple neighborhoods, with reports indicating that flood levels exceeded 1 meter and 10 centimeters, a situation deemed concerning by local officials. The latest measurement showed the water level was 30 centimeters below the flood threshold, but the alert remains in place due to ongoing weather instability that could lead to further increases in water levels.

Fábio de Souza Gomes, the municipal Secretary of Civil Defense, emphasized that teams are on high alert and advised residents living in riverside areas to remain vigilant to any changes in water levels. Besides monitoring the river, there are also concerns regarding access roads in rural areas, which have been cut off due to the rains. The situation is under continuous review, as weather conditions may affect both the river and infrastructure in the surrounding regions.

Local authorities are coordinating efforts to ensure the safety of residents and facilitate information dissemination about the evolving situation.
