The city of Pindamonhangaba in Brazil has unveiled its official programming for Carnaval Pinda 2026, promising to be a significant event filled with exciting attractions and novelties. Among the highlights is a performance by Tatau, the famous singer from the band Araketu, who will be the sole attraction at the Parque da Cidade. The festival aims to bring joy to carnival-goers of all ages with established local blocks confirmed to participate in the festivities.
Traditional carnival blocks such as Dondocas, Socó da Madrugada, Jeca Tatu Cotia Não, and others will be part of the celebrations, alongside the introduction of a new block called Bloco do Paiol, which will focus on sertanejo music. The festivities will occur in various neighborhoods, ensuring a widespread celebration such as the Folia da Vila at Bosque da Princesa and matinees at Araretama, enhancing community involvement and engagement with the events.
