Sauna manufacturer Harvia saw significant growth in revenue and profit during the last quarter of the year.
In a positive turn for the sauna industry, Finnish manufacturer Harvia reported a notable increase in both revenue and profit in the last quarter. The company achieved a revenue of approximately 54 million euros from October to December, reflecting a growth of over five percent compared to the previous year. The adjusted operating profit rose by 25 percent year-on-year, surpassing the 10 million euro mark, indicating a strong demand for their products.
The last quarter also highlighted Northern Europe as the fastest-growing market for Harvia, with an impressive revenue increase of nearly 12 percent. Additionally, the demand for saunas in North America remained robust, particularly for heating appliances, contributing positively to Harvia's overall earnings. This growth in revenue underscores Harvia's strong position in the sauna market despite various global economic challenges.
While Harvia acknowledged ongoing economic and geopolitical uncertainties, the company remains optimistic about the sauna market's future. The sustained demand for sauna products indicates resilience within the sector, suggesting that consumer interest in wellness and relaxation through sauna experiences continues to thrive even amidst broader uncertainties.
