Following the allegations, KGMU's administration acted swiftly by suspending the accused professor and banning his entry into the department to ensure a safe working environment. The doctor claimed that the professor called her into his room and engaged in inappropriate conduct.

The KGMU administration has taken this matter seriously, launching an internal inquiry into the allegations. University spokesperson Dr. KK Singh confirmed that the suspension was initiated to facilitate an unbiased investigation into the claims.
