Edo Sports Commission boss applauds Niger Delta Games facilities

The Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission commended the facilities prepared for the upcoming 2nd Niger Delta Games in Benin City, highlighting significant renovations.

During a tour of the facilities, which included the tennis courts, swimming pool, and indoor sports hall at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, as well as the basketball and volleyball courts at the Wire Road Sports Centre, Enabulele expressed his satisfaction with the upgrades.

He noted that the renovations have reached around 90 percent completion, indicating that the sporting facilities are nearly ready for the games. Enabulele highlighted the substantial benefits that hosting the Niger Delta Games brings to Edo State, particularly in terms of promoting sports and encouraging local engagement in athletics.
