The Bihar government has announced significant recruitment for teachers under the TRE 4 scheme, aiming to fill approximately 46,000 teaching positions across various classes from 1 to 12. This initiative brings hope for many aspiring teachers in the state, as the announcement of vacancies is expected to attract a large number of applicants. The recruitment process is set to kick off with an official advertisement in March, which is likely to spark interest and anticipation among job seekers in the education sector.

The General Administration Department of Bihar has already sent a requisition to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) to fill these positions. The total positions specified include 44,500 for various classes, which are divided among primary, middle, and secondary education levels. Moreover, the recruitment effort will also extend to positions for teachers and principals in the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) Welfare Departments, as well as for the Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) from classes 6 to 12.
