Belém will have a water supply interruption this Wednesday, 11; know the affected neighborhoods

Belém is set to experience a temporary interruption in water supply due to emergency maintenance from the local water utility.

The water utility company in Belém has scheduled emergency maintenance for the water supply network starting Wednesday, November 11, at 8 PM, which is expected to finish by 6 AM on Thursday, November 12. This maintenance will involve connecting parts of the network and repairing a leak, necessitating a short-term water supply interruption in various neighborhoods.

The neighborhoods affected include Pedreira, Telégrafo, Sacramenta, Miramar, and parts of the Marco and Barreiro, along with several residential complexes such as Conjunto Paraíso dos Pássaros and Conjunto Providência. Initially planned for November 10, the maintenance was postponed to give residents more notice, and upon completion, water supply will be resumed gradually according to the utility's guidelines.

The Para water company has encouraged residents to use water responsibly during the outage period to mitigate any inconveniences caused by the service interruption. This maintenance is crucial for improving the overall infrastructure of the water supply in Belém, ensuring that the community has reliable access to one of its most essential resources.
