Toyota published prices for February 2026: the models that are cheaper
Toyota has announced its vehicle prices for February 2026, highlighting its four most affordable models in Argentina.
Toyota, the leading automotive brand in Argentina for 2025, has recently updated its vehicle pricing for February 2026, specifying which of its models are now more affordable for consumers. Closing 2025 with sales of 97,081 vehicles, the company solidified its dominance in the local market according to data from the Association of Automotive Dealers of the Republic of Argentina (Acara). This achievement reflects Toyota's strong presence and influence in the Argentine automotive sector, particularly with its production facility located in ZΓ‘rate, Buenos Aires.
As the new year begins, however, Toyota faces increased competition within the market. In January 2026, the brand registered 7,509 vehicle registrations, placing it in third position behind Volkswagen and Fiat, which reported 9,785 and 8,451 sales, respectively. Despite slipping in the rankings, Toyota's Hilux model remains a powerful driver of sales, leading as the most sold vehicle with 3,403 units registered during this month. This shift in rankings suggests a highly competitive landscape as various manufacturers position themselves for customer preference in the automotive sector.
Overall, Toyota's updated pricing strategy might be a response to the changing dynamics in the market, aimed at maintaining its customer base while appealing to budget-conscious buyers. By emphasizing its more affordable models, Toyota aims to attract a wider audience and sustain its market presence in a challenging environment, hinting at the necessity for continuous adaptation in pricing and offerings within the rapidly evolving automotive industry of Argentina.
