Direct flights from Teresina to Salvador and Rio de Janeiro are now available for ticket purchase, starting this Wednesday, November 11.
Starting this Wednesday, November 11, tickets for new direct flights from Teresina to Salvador and Rio de Janeiro are on sale. The flights will be operated by GOL Linhas Aéreas, with services commencing on August 10. The aircraft used can accommodate up to 186 passengers.
The flights between Teresina and Rio de Janeiro will run three times a week, with departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and return flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The route to Salvador will have two weekly round trips, scheduled on Thursdays and Saturdays. Additionally, the airline has expanded its network to include flights to Parnaíba and São Raimundo Nonato, complementing existing direct flights from Teresina to Brasília and São Paulo, as well as flights with connections.
According to the state government, this expansion is part of a broader strategy to enhance the airline's growth in the northeastern region of Brazil. These new routes are expected to facilitate travel and boost tourism, providing more accessibility for passengers traveling between these cities and promoting economic development in Teresina.
