The Gallery Rudolfinum in Prague has opened a captivating new exhibition titled 'Beyond The City of Time,' featuring the works of Indian artist Sahej Rahal. The exhibition presents an array of Rahal's creations, combining digital and virtual artworks with traditional analog paintings and large sculptures of three-legged pedestrians. Through his art, Rahal leads visitors into an illusionary realm that critically explores narrative and storytelling and offers an intriguing interaction between the audience and the artwork, seamlessly blending mythological themes with contemporary societal reflections.

Rahal's exhibition runs from February 12 to May 10, allowing the public to experience his innovative pieces for a voluntary entrance fee. This debut project of the year for the Gallery Rudolfinum showcases not only paintings and oversized sculptures of undefined beings but also invites visitors to engage with a videogame and other unique installations that blur the lines between the digital and physical realms. The interactive art, enhanced by artificial intelligence in large projections, features chimera-like creatures that respond to sounds and interactions, creating a dynamic and immersive atmosphere that challenges traditional perceptions of reality and art.

Through compelling visual experiences and thought-provoking narratives, Rahal's work encourages reflection on the intersection of technology, creativity, and mythology. By offering a multifaceted exploration of these themes, the exhibition not only celebrates artistic innovation but also invites dialogue on the evolving role of art in understanding contemporary culture and identity, paving the way for deeper engagement with the viewer's own experiences and thoughts as they navigate this unique artistic landscape.
