In Campinas, a state initiative is providing extensive discounts to help residents pay off their state tax debts, including IPVA and ICMS.
The State Attorney General's Office of São Paulo is conducting a drive in Campinas on February 11, aimed at helping residents pay off their state debts with substantial discounts. This initiative, known as the Acordo Paulista program, targets individuals with outstanding debts related to taxes such as ICMS, IPVA, and various fines. Attendees will receive direct assistance, answers to their questions, and guidance on how to enroll in the program to benefit from these reductions.
Participants in the program can expect to receive discounts of up to 100% on interest and fines, and as much as 75% off the total debt amount. The program also provides the option to pay remaining balances in installments of up to 120 months. This drive not only aims to alleviate financial burdens on citizens but also reflects the government’s broader goal of increasing tax compliance and improving fiscal health.
The event will take place at the Poupatempo unit located in Campinas Shopping, with service available from 11 am to 5 pm. Residents interested in attending should arrive early to obtain a service ticket, as the distribution will close at 4 pm.
