OAB-RJ warns of fake site for the Order Exam and improper fee collection
The OAB-RJ has issued a warning about a fraudulent website mimicking the Unified Order Exam registration process to scam candidates.
The Brazilian Bar Association of Rio de Janeiro (OAB-RJ) has alerted the public regarding a fraudulent website being utilized by criminals to deceive candidates seeking registration for the Unified Order Exam. These scammers have created a phony registration page that resembles the official site, tricking individuals into paying a supposed 'fee' via PIX without any bank slip issuance or email confirmation. This has raised significant concerns about the safety and integrity of the registration process.
The OAB emphasizes that candidates should only register through the official channels of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), the organization responsible for the exam. They have stressed the importance of ignoring any links sent through social media, messaging apps, or emails claiming to offer registration services. This advisory serves to inform potential candidates about the dangers posed by these fraudulent schemes and the necessity of remaining vigilant to protect personal information and financial resources.
In regular procedures, candidates are directed to the official FGV site where legitimate registration processes are outlined, including the issuance of bank slips directly from the foundation and formal confirmation of registration. The absence of these critical steps in the fraudulent process is a strong indicator of a scam, underscoring the need for candidates to only engage with verified and secure platforms during their registration efforts for the exam.
