The old Piscinão de São Gonçalo, which has been closed since 2017, has recently reopened as Parque RJ – Nosso Sonho after extensive renovations. This new public space spans 35,000 square meters and offers various sports, recreational activities, and social spaces aimed at accommodating people of all ages. The park includes free access to 11 activities, making it an inclusive environment for the community.

During its opening weekend, the park quickly attracted crowds, particularly children and teenagers eager to utilize the new facilities, including sports courts, running paths, a skateboarding area, and a children’s playground. Community members expressed joy over having a free and accessible place to engage in physical activities and socialize, highlighting the park's positive impact on local youth and overall public health.

Additionally, the park features a 'Sustainable Waterfall,' which has become a highlight for visitors, signaling the project’s commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness. Residents have noted that this space provides beneficial alternatives to idleness and promotes a lively community atmosphere.
