Reaction of CM Yogi on UP Budget: No Tax Imposed in 9 Years

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has responded to the Uttar Pradesh budget, calling it historic and indicating that it accounts for the interests of all segments of society. He emphasized that the budget does not impose any new taxes while maximizing benefits for the public. The Chief Minister highlighted that this is the first time for any UP CM to present the budget for the 10th time, denoting significant experience and continuity in governance. He praised the financial management shown in the budget, pointing out measures taken to reduce unemployment rates and declaring that Uttar Pradesh is among the top three economies in the country.
In a press conference following the budget announcement, Yogi Adityanath categorized the budget under the themes of "Safe Women, Capable Youth, and Work for Every Hand." He stated that in the last nine years, efforts have been made to extract UP from policy paralysis and increase the budget size threefold, all without introducing new taxes. The Chief Minister stressed that UP has been transformed into a 'surplus state', showcasing successful governance by providing financial stability and facilitating development without placing additional burdens on taxpayers.
Celebrating the record of presenting the budget for the 10th time, CM Yogi characterized it as a budget that generates employment opportunities. He attributed the assured investment and development in the state to the enforcement of the rule of law and improved police operations, which facilitate a conducive environment for both businesses and citizens. The announcement reflects a significant shift in economic management and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Uttar Pradesh.
