A serious traffic collision in Vilnius involved a 'Mercedes-Benz' and a 'CityBee' car, resulting in damage to five parked vehicles.
On February 10, an incident occurred on Medeina Street in Vilnius shortly after 10 PM when a driver of a 'CityBee' car, a Ford, failed to yield to an oncoming 'Mercedes-Benz' driven by a man born in 1990. As the two vehicles collided, the 'Mercedes-Benz' veered off and struck five other parked vehicles, which included brands such as Volvo, Renault, Ε koda, Land Rover, and Toyota.
Both drivers disputed who was at fault, prompting police officers arriving at the scene to remind them of the traffic rules. Fortunately, neither driver was under the influence of alcohol, allowing them to fill out accident declarations without further complications. The collision caused significant financial damage, although fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident, preventing what could have been a far more dire situation.
