The deceased, identified as Bharoop Singh, had confronted the accused, Inderjeet Singh, about the illicit relations and had previously barred him from visiting his home. On Tuesday evening, Inderjeet Singh reportedly arrived near Bharoop Singh's house while under the influence of alcohol. An argument ensued, and during this altercation, he fired a shot from a licensed .32 bore revolver, hitting Bharoop Singh in the head, which resulted in his immediate death. The incident has created a sense of fear within the community, and the alleged murderer has fled the scene with the weapon following the crime.
