During the Carnival festivities, the shopping center will have adjusted operating hours for its stores and establishments. Specifically, on Thursday and Friday (February 13), the shopping will operate from 9 AM to 6 PM, while it will remain closed during the peak days of the Carnival. Normal operations are set to resume on Ash Wednesday from 12 PM to 8 PM. This scheduling is meant to align with the local customs and safety considerations during one of the most significant cultural events in Brazil.
The introduction of round-the-clock parking at Shopping Piedade underscores the intersection of commercial interests and cultural celebration, as businesses aim to capitalize on the influx of visitors expected during Carnival. With Carnival being a major draw for both locals and tourists, services such as secure parking are essential for enhancing the experience and accessibility to the vibrant festivities taking place in Salvador.
