The Legislative Chamber of the Federal District (CLDF) has decided to archive one of the impeachment requests against Governor Ibaneis Rocha, as per the announcement made by the CLDF President, Wellington Luiz, on Tuesday. The impeachment request was submitted a month ago by Antônio Vitor Leitão, a member of the Cidadania party, and alleged that Rocha had committed responsibility crimes related to an attempted purchase of Banco Master by the Banco de Brasília.

Upon reviewing the request, the CLDF's General Attorney's Office recommended its archiving, citing a lack of formal elements, such as proof of legitimacy and individual conduct, as well as a failure to show just cause due to insufficient indicative elements. The report emphasized that the allegations did not meet the necessary legal requirements for proceeding with an impeachment process, leading President Wellington Luiz to follow the Attorney's suggestion to archive the petition.
