A shirt that embraces: a solidarity campaign launched to support children with cancer

The Fundación Natalí Flexer has launched the #YoAbrazo solidarity campaign to support children with cancer through the sale of specially designed shirts, with proceeds funding integral support programs for affected families.

In recognition of Childhood and Youth Cancer Awareness Month, the Fundación Natalí Flexer has introduced the #YoAbrazo campaign, which encourages the public to 'wear the shirt' in support of children battling cancer. The initiative is designed to raise awareness about the challenges these young patients face while also bolstering the support network that the organization provides to approximately 2,800 children and their families across Argentina. All funds raised from the sale of the shirts will go towards funding free comprehensive support programs.

The campaign's launch also saw the participation of eleven women from various fields who have come together to lend their voices and amplify the message of solidarity. Figures such as Agustina Rossi, Evelyn Scheild, and Verónica Lozano are among those who have endorsed the cause, aiming to mobilize societal engagement and compassion towards families affected by cancer. This involvement not only highlights the seriousness of the issue but also fosters a sense of community support for those in need.

The Fundación emphasizes that purchasing the shirt serves as a symbolic gesture of support, as both awareness and financial backing are crucial in the fight against childhood cancer. By participating in this campaign, individuals contribute to a broader effort to make a tangible difference in the lives of young patients and their families, reflecting the social responsibility that organizations and citizens hold in addressing such pressing health issues.
