A new company has been announced for emergency waste collection services in Suzano, Brazil, following the failure of the previous contractor, Renova Suzano Ambiental Ltda, which has not been fulfilling its contractual obligations since February 5. This decision was made public during a press conference held on Tuesday, where city officials introduced the new company, Troupe, who will temporarily take over these important municipal services under a six-month emergency contract.

The municipal administration has stated that Troupe will deploy 18 vehicles to begin waste collection operations in several neighborhoods, including Jardim Monte Cristo, Jardim Imperador, Suzanopolis, Jardim Revista, Jardim Leblon, and Tabamarajoara. The expectation is that the collection service will be back to normal by Thursday, indicating a proactive approach by the city government to resolve the ongoing waste management crisis.
