The Cañuelas Agro-Livestock Market in Argentina saw the entry of 8,099 animals this week, with fluctuations in cattle prices and changing demand from local buyers.
This Tuesday marked the start of operations for the week at the Cañuelas Agro-Livestock Market (MAG), where 8,099 animals were received, delivered by 233 trucks. The sales sparked interest from local supply operators and the industry for special lots of young cattle, cows, and light livestock, although general lots faced more challenges in terms of sales. The General Index rose by 3.6% compared to the previous Friday, moving from 3,932.388 to 3,790.905 pesos, while the Young Cattle Index saw a decline of 1.87%, dropping from 4,410.602 to 4,328.293 pesos per kilogram.
