The Federation of Industries of the State of Amazonas (FIEAM) is launching the 33rd edition of the Amazonas Quality Award, a key recognition for management and productivity practices in the Northern region of Brazil.

The Federation of Industries of the State of Amazonas (FIEAM) will be hosting the launch of the 33rd edition of the Amazonas Quality Award (PQA) on Wednesday, November 11, at 3 PM in the Auton Furtado Auditorium in Manaus. This award is one of the most influential acknowledgments in promoting good management and productivity practices across the Northern region of Brazil, highlighting the importance of organizational excellence.

Established in 1994, the PQA has become a benchmark for recognizing organizational excellence in Amazonas. Over the past three decades, the award has evaluated thousands of projects and honored more than 800 organizations from the public, private, and third-sector spaces. This initiative encourages the adoption of systemic management models and continuous improvement processes, fostering a competitive and productive environment within the region.

As indicated by the PQA coordinator, Erlen Montefusco, the launch of this new edition emphasizes the strategic role of the program in strengthening the institutional framework of Amazonas organizations. The award not only honors past achievements but also serves as a catalyst for future initiatives aimed at enhancing quality and performance in local enterprises, which can significantly impact the state's economic development.
