Migaľ admits that repairs for Slovensko.sk worth over one hundred million will be ordered directly and part of the amount will be paid by the state

Slovak Minister of Informatization Samuel Migaľ indicates that the government may directly order repairs for the state website Slovensko.sk costing over 110 million euros, pending an assessment from the Public Procurement Office.

Samuel Migaľ, the Slovak Minister of Informatization, acknowledged the possibility of directly ordering repairs for the government website Slovensko.sk, a project estimated to cost 110 million euros. He explained that this direct assignment is permissible under the law and they are currently consulting with the Public Procurement Office about this approach. Migaľ stated, "We will wait for their position. If this becomes possible, we will proceed; if not, we will not."

The responsibility for the IT projects falls on the National Agency for Network and Electronic Services, which operates under the Ministry of Informatization (MIRRI). However, the specifics of these projects are classified and not publicly disclosed, leading to concerns regarding transparency and accountability. The lack of public information raises questions about potential risks and misuse of funds in significant public expenditure like this one.

Further complicating matters, MP Roman Michelko from the Slovak National Party reminded Migaľ of a warning from the Prime Minister regarding avoiding further mistakes in procurement processes. This suggests an ongoing tension within the government about how to manage significant public contracts and reflects broader issues regarding governance and public trust in official processes in Slovakia.
