Born in Wales, she began her cello studies in Munich and continued at the International Cello Centre in Scotland and the Royal Academy of Music. In 1983, she moved to Greece, where she achieved her diploma with top honors, trained under Eleftherios Papastavrou, and joined the National Opera Orchestra in 2000.
Throughout her career, Griffith was not only a vital member of the orchestra but also actively participated in chamber music ensembles, regularly performing concerts both in Greece and internationally.
