During the meeting, Mitsotakis addressed the challenges faced by livestock farmers, acknowledging their losses and the need for immediate action. He mentioned that one of the most significant steps taken is the compensation for income loss for farmers and producers who have suffered from the loss of their animals due to the disease. With a critical two months ahead, leading up to Easter, Mitsotakis pointed out that this period is crucial for achieving the goal of eradication.
