Somalia: Somalia, Saudi Arabia Discuss Boosting Security Cooperation
Somalia and Saudi Arabia are enhancing their security cooperation, focusing on counterterrorism and the professionalisation of Somalia's security forces.
Somalia's interior security minister, Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail, known as Fartaag, met with Saudi Arabia's deputy interior minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, in Riyadh to strengthen the security cooperation between their countries. The discussions centered on vital aspects such as counterterrorism efforts, better security coordination, and the exchange of expertise.
