PRS apartments will grow in Gdańsk. Cavatina's transaction with Urban Partners

Urban Partners is set to buy a PRS property in Gdańsk from Cavatina, involving forward funding for a new residential project.

Urban Partners is advancing its investment strategy in Poland by acquiring a PRS property in Gdańsk from the Cavatina group. The property, known as Palio C, is located on Jana z Kolna Street and marks a significant forward funding transaction which reflects the growing interest in the Polish real estate market, specifically in the residential space. This acquisition not only involves the purchase of the land but also includes a management agreement for the development of the PRS project on the site.

The project plans for the construction of a residential building that will comprise 336 fully-furnished apartments along with additional service space totaling 495 square meters. According to the investor's representatives, the housing will primarily target one- and two-person households, addressing the demand for affordable living conditions in urban areas. The development is designed to include amenity spaces such as a gym and a coworking area, catering to the lifestyle needs of future residents.

The investment's oversight will be executed under a Development Management Agreement (DMA) by Cavare, with the completion date set for the near future. The fully equipped apartments will be managed by Lett, Urban Partners' brand that focuses on providing residential units in major Polish cities. This initiative underscores the ongoing trend in Poland towards institutional rental models and the anticipated growth of the rental market, responding to evolving urban living standards and consumer preferences.
