In a response to ongoing energy challenges in Ukraine, particularly in the Kyiv Oblast, over 500 high-capacity generators have been installed at critical infrastructure sites. This initiative, backed by international partners such as Poland, Lithuania, Czechia, and various humanitarian organizations, aims to provide essential services amid the ongoing power shortages faced by residents. The generators possess a collective capacity of more than 5.3 megawatts, ensuring that vital systems remain operational even during electricity outages.

The head of the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, highlighted the significance of these generators, stating that they are installed in key locations, including boiler houses, water utilities, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and special invincibility centres. These centres serve as crucial resources during difficult times, providing warmth, food, and charging facilities for power banks to individuals affected by energy disruptions. This comprehensive deployment not only addresses immediate needs but also fosters community resilience in the face of ongoing hardships.
