Softball player Sam Show from Sultanes Femenil has been selected to participate in the upcoming Home Run Derby in León, Guanajuato.

Sam Show, a standout player from Sultanes Femenil, has been officially announced as a participant in the inaugural Home Run Derby of the Liga Mexicana de Softbol, scheduled for February 16 at Estadio Domingo Santana in León, Guanajuato. She will be stepping in for Morgan Howe, who was originally set to compete. The announcement was made by the league on Monday through its official channels, highlighting Show's impressive credentials.

Show, who hails from Houston, Texas, has made a significant mark in college softball, representing both Texas A&M and Oklahoma State. She was a key player in her teams, finishing as a runner-up in the 2019 Women's College World Series and securing three selections to the NFCA First Team. Her nickname, 'The Queen of Batflips,' reflects her dynamic presence and performance on the field, adding excitement to the upcoming derby event.

In addition to Show, several other players from Monterrey have been selected for the All-Star Game, including Yanina Treviño, Baylee Klingler, Suka Van Gurp, and Morgan Howe.
