Four Sultanes Women Selected for the LMS All-Star Game

Four players from the Sultanes Femenil have been chosen to participate in the first All-Star Game of the Mexican Softball League.

The Sultanes Femenil have announced that four of their players—Yanina Treviño, Baylee Klingler, Suka Van Gurp, and Morgan Howe—have been selected for the inaugural All-Star Game of the Liga Mexicana de Softbol. This event is scheduled to take place on February 17 at the Estadio Domingo Santana in León, Guanajuato, and is expected to showcase the talents of female softball athletes from across Mexico.

The All-Star roster includes 16 athletes who have been categorized into North and South divisions. The Northern team comprises standout players from the Sultanes Femenil, Naranjeras, Algodoneras, and Charros Femenil, while the Southern team features notable players from Diablos Rojos Femenil, El Águila de Veracruz, Olmecas, and Bravas de León. The manager of the Monterrey team, Rafael Guzmán, along with his coaching staff, will lead the North team due to their finalist position in the previous season.

Yanina Treviño, who has emerged as a significant figure for Sultanes after pitching two no-hitters during the first season, reflects the growing recognition of women’s sports in Mexico. This All-Star Game not only highlights the talent within the Liga Mexicana de Softbol but also emphasizes the importance of such events in promoting and celebrating women's athletics in the country.
