FIR Against Billionaire’s Son, Police Reaches Named Suspect in Lamborghini Incident
Police in Kanpur have registered an FIR against the son of a billionaire involved in a Lamborghini car accident, with investigations now identifying him as the alleged driver.
The incident involving a Lamborghini crash on VIP Road in Kanpur has escalated, with police filing an FIR against an unnamed driver, later identifying Shivam Mishra, the son of a billionaire tobacco businessman, as the individual driving the vehicle. The police commissioner emphasized that the law applies equally to everyone, regardless of whether the vehicle involved is an expensive Lamborghini or a regular car. Injured individuals from the accident received medical attention and were discharged from the hospital shortly after.
On Sunday, while driving his Lamborghini, Shivam Mishra was accompanied by bodyguards in another vehicle for safety. The car lost control near Rev-3 Mall, hitting an e-rickshaw, followed by a motorcycle, and ultimately crashed into a pole on the roadside. During the investigation, the police initially did not name anyone in the FIR as they were unsure of the driver's identity at the time, but later findings revealed that Shivam was behind the wheel. Despite police assertions, his defense claims the findings are inaccurate.
This incident has raised significant public interest, drawing attention to issues of accountability among affluent individuals, particularly in the realm of driving and road safety. The police's determination to treat this case seriously and maintain that laws apply uniformly to all, regardless of social status, suggests a commitment to addressing such high-profile cases transparently. The outcome of this case may impact public perceptions of justice in instances involving wealth and privilege.
