'Kanpur Police's Stand Clear, Shivam Mishra Was Driving the Lamborghini'

The Kanpur police have filed an FIR against accused Shivam Mishra, asserting he was driving a Lamborghini involved in an accident, contrary to claims made by his lawyer.

In the Kanpur Lamborghini accident case, local police have officially registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Shivam Mishra, the accused driver. Despite assertions from Mishra's lawyer that he was not behind the wheel at the time of the accident, Kanpur's Police Commissioner Raghveeer Lal stated that the police's position is unequivocal: Mishra was indeed the driver, a claim supported by video evidence from the incident. The footage reportedly shows Mishra being carried from the vehicle after the crash.

Commissioner Lal provided updates regarding the incident, confirming that only one person was injured in the accident, which was not severe and involved minimal damage, specifically to a motorcycle. Currently, Mishra is hospitalized, and his father has expressed willingness to cooperate with the investigation. The police plan to submit a charge sheet in the near future, which will enable the court case to progress further.

In contrast, Mishra's father insists that a driver named Mohan was actually operating the Lamborghini at the time of the accident, suggesting conflicting narratives about the responsibility for the incident. He mentioned that his son is currently receiving medical treatment in Delhi and that he has also communicated with the Commissioner, expressing intent to cooperate in the investigation. The investigation continues as authorities seek to clarify the circumstances surrounding the accident.
