6 Cricket Matches of T20 World Cup in Delhi, Traffic Diversions, Advisory Released

Delhi Police has issued traffic restrictions and diversions around Arun Jaitley Stadium for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 matches scheduled to take place in February and March.

Delhi Police announced the implementation of traffic restrictions and diversions around the Arun Jaitley Stadium (formerly known as Feroz Shah Kotla) for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 matches. A total of six matches will be played on February 10, 12, 13, 16, 18, and March 1. The purpose of these restrictions is to facilitate the movement of spectators and prevent traffic congestion in the city on match days.

The traffic police advisory states that special traffic arrangements will be in place on match days from 9 AM to 11:30 PM, with modifications occurring at different times depending on the match schedules. Drivers are advised to avoid certain routes, such as Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Asaf Ali Road, and the roads leading from Raj Ghat to JLN Marg, during these hours to circumvent potential congestion due to the expected large crowds.

Moreover, parking availability near the stadium will be extremely limited, adding to the need for careful planning by attendees. The advisory emphasizes the importance of following these guidelines to ensure a smooth experience for both the spectators and local residents during the T20 World Cup events in Delhi.
