Silva Jardim, located in Brazil's Baixada Litorânea region, suffered extensive flooding due to heavy rains on Sunday, which recorded 124 mm of rainfall within 24 hours. The storm particularly affected the neighborhoods of Reginópolis, Imbaú, and Cabiúnas, leading to 50 people being displaced and another 20 homeless as rising waters inundated their homes. The local government has been swift in its response, establishing a crisis management team to address the emergency.

In the aftermath of the storm, local authorities reported not only flooding but also significant damage such as fallen trees, damaged walls, and landslides.
